Samsung Electronics has once again secured its place among the world’s most valuable brands. According to Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2025 report, the South Korean tech giant has been ranked fifth globally, marking the sixth consecutive year it has held this position.

Samsung’s Brand Value Reaches $90 Billion

Interbrand valued Samsung’s brand at $90 billion, reinforcing the company’s strong global presence across multiple industries — from smartphones and semiconductors to appliances and AI-driven technologies.

At the top of the 2025 list are Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, with brand values of $470.9 billion, $388.5 billion, $319.9 billion, and $317.1 billion, respectively.

Despite maintaining its top-five position, Samsung still faces stiff competition from its US-based tech rivals.

Samsung’s Continued Global Recognition

For more than half a decade, Interbrand has consistently recognized Samsung as one of the world’s most influential and trusted brands, citing its innovation, reliability, and wide product ecosystem as major strengths.

The company’s diverse portfolio — spanning AI, mobile devices, consumer electronics, and semiconductor manufacturing — has helped solidify its global reputation.

Samsung’s Focus on AI and Customer-Centric Innovation

Commenting on the achievement, Won-Jin Lee, President and Head of Samsung’s Global Marketing Office, said:

“Through AI innovation and open collaboration, Samsung has worked to ensure that more customers can experience AI in their daily lives.
Moving forward, we will continue to focus on benefits for customers, including in health and safety, so that Samsung can grow into an even more beloved brand.”

Samsung’s push into artificial intelligence and open ecosystem partnerships has been a cornerstone of its strategy in recent years, helping it expand beyond hardware into smart software and connected services.

Major Partnerships and Future Growth

In 2025, Samsung has strengthened its position in the tech and semiconductor industries through major partnerships and strategic deals:

  • Tesla: Samsung has reportedly signed a massive deal to produce 2nm chips for Tesla’s future electric vehicles.
  • Nvidia: The company will also supply HBM3E memory chips for Nvidia’s next-generation AI accelerators, a booming market segment driven by AI computing demand.

These developments position Samsung as a critical player in the AI hardware revolution, complementing its consumer electronics and smartphone dominance.

Samsung’s Global Influence

Samsung’s strong showing on Interbrand’s list reflects its influence across Asia, Europe, and North America. It continues to be one of Asia’s top brands and a leader in innovation, sustainability, and customer trust.

However, analysts note that closing the gap with Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon will require aggressive expansion in AI services, premium hardware, and ecosystem integration.
